Gynecomastia is the medical condition that refers to the abnormal enlargement of the breasts in men. This condition can occur physiologically or naturally throughout life and it is important to emphasize that it can occur in turn due to obesity, kidney, lung and liver diseases as well as cardiac, steroid and psychiatric medications.
This can be remedied through liposuction, or through surgical removal, depending on the nature of the breast growth. Once the intervention is performed, there may be discomfort, numbness, burning or pain, which is normal and usually passes in about 2-3 weeks.
